Innovative Design, Inc. provides mechanical and machine design services to a custom conveyor manufacturer. IDI worked closely with customer engineers to develop a 3-way chute and conveyor system to be installed in a food processing facility. As requested by the customer, the 3D model and all the detail drawings of the chutes, conveyors, belts, drives, supports, etc. were created in Autodesk Inventor. The project required IDI to adhere to the customer’s detailed standards and procedures as well as the strict food industry standards in the design of the conveyance system. The project was constructed and started up ahead of schedule and is working to meet the day-to-day operating requirements of the plant.
