IDI was contracted originally to perform conceptual and preliminary engineering and design for a new fan house, FRP Stack and Ductwork for the nuclear facility. The preliminary work included conceptual design layouts in 3D, preparation of scope of work documents for construction contractors and cost estimating.

Approximately one year later the customer decided to engage IDI again to prepare a complete and final detailed engineering and design package and scope of work including specifying equipment, fully detailed design drawings for the fan house, foundations, FRP stack, FRP duct, duct supports, sample platform, relocation of utilities and existing stack guy wire relocation during construction.
