The existing stock feed system for the process at this customer’s facility was lacking necessary filtration. Larger pieces of debris were slipping through the system and causing a multitude of problems to the downstream process. IDI was awarded the project to assist with the engineering and design of a filter system for 2 separate processes. The scope included a large filter box and cartridge, support structure and access platforms, spare cartridge wash station, relocation of large bore piping and valves in the basement, penetration of piping through the plant floor, and preparation of a Scope of Work for fabrication and construction. A fully detailed 3D design was developed by IDI, including detail drawings for fabrication.
