Innovative Design, Inc. (IDI) provided engineering and design services for a vapor compression distillation system for this global water solutions manufacturing firm. Components including the compressor, evaporator, boiler, piping, pumps, valves, instruments, support structure, electrical, etc. were modeled in Solidworks 3D, including analysis of the frame and the process. Many of IDI’s employees have had extensive experience in the water industry and in water processes and can assist from the engineering and creation of the PFD’s and P&ID’s, all the way through preparation of equipment lists, valve schedules, instrument lists, electrical and controls, GA and piping drawings and 2D detail drawings for fabrication.
